Depression treatment is different for everyone. We are individuals so it needs to be tailored to your needs. Medication is not the only answer and is not always what you should start with.
Clouds will come in life. When they last for weeks on end something needs to be done. I work with CBT cognitive therapy and mix this with positive psychology and visioning what you want your life to be.
You need to Picture Your Life (the title of my book) to see what you want in a well lived life. Yes we need to address issues but we need to look beyond the deficit and reach for something above zero!

Giving back to others is one of the easiest things we can do to lift our spirits and keep the picture of our life looking good. It doesn’t have to be a big thing, either. It can be as simple as visiting an elderly family member or giving a protein bar to a homeless person. On the other hand, it can be challenging fun like participating in a run for cancer.
At times things can seem to hard to live with. Time does heal with focused support. I have helped so many epople come out of deep dark places. It can be done. It will be done. It takes persistence, someone to give you you hope and to stick with you. I am hee and have been supporting people for many years.
It takes time to heal but healing does happen. It will happen. Hope is a call away.
